Williamstown, NJ

Williamstown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Monroe Township, Gloucester County. Before European settlement in 1737, the area was inhabited by the Lenni-Lenape, whose presence shaped the region long before modern South Jersey development. Today Williamstown has schools, subdivisions, local shopping, and access to U.S. Route 322, with Scotland Run Golf Club nearby. It sits far enough from Philadelphia to feel more spacious than the inner suburbs, but close enough to remain tied to South Jersey commuting patterns.
