About Willisburg

Willisburg is a quiet, close-knit town in Washington County, Kentucky, home to about 300 residents. Situated along Route 433 between Springfield and Harrodsburg, it holds the distinction of being Kentucky's demographic center of population. The community was founded in 1838 and named for Revolutionary War veteran Captain Henry Willis, growing from a small rural crossroads into a peaceful place to settle down.
