About Window Rock

Window Rock is the capital of the Navajo Nation, known in Navajo as Tségháhoodzání, and the place where the Navajo Nation Council, Supreme Court, and executive offices sit. The Navajo Nation Museum and the Navajo Nation Zoological and Botanical Park add another side of the community, with exhibits and Four Corners plants and animals. The Arizona–New Mexico line forms the eastern edge, and Tse Bonito sits just across it. Window Rock is a government town, a cultural center, and a border-place all at once—a place where tribal business, Navajo history, and the Four Corners landscape share the same address.
