About Windsor Locks
Windsor Locks is a historic town in Hartford County, Connecticut, located along the west bank of the Connecticut River. Named after the canal locks built in 1829 to bypass the Enfield Falls, the community has a population of approximately 12,600. The town is the site of the Bradley International Airport and the New England Air Museum. Windsor Locks was historically the home of the Dexter Corporation, which was the oldest company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
