About Winslow

Winslow is a small city in southern Washington County, Arkansas, in the Boston Mountains. It began as a stagecoach stop and received a post office in 1876 under the name Summit Home. Later rail development through the steep mountains helped shape the town's history. Winslow sits along Arkansas Highway 74, about twelve miles east of Devil's Den State Park, and students attend schools in the Greenland School District. It feels like a small Ozark mountain community.
