Wolcott, VT

Wolcott is a town in Lamoille County, Vermont, United States. The 2020 census counted 1,670 residents. The town was named for General Oliver Wolcott, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Wolcott is the easternmost town in Lamoille County. Boaters can also access the Paddlers Trail three miles downstream at the Elmore Road bridge to avoid a portage around the Wolcott Dam. Wolcott makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap.
