About Woodhaven

Woodhaven is a city in Wayne County, Michigan, located nineteen miles southwest of downtown Detroit. Part of the Downriver collection of suburban communities, the city of approximately 12,700 is widely known as the home of the Ford Motor Company's Woodhaven Stamping Plant. Public education is primarily administered by the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District, with a small southern portion of the city served by the Gibraltar School District.
