About Wynnewood

Wynnewood is a suburban unincorporated community on Philadelphia's Main Line, straddling Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County and Haverford Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Named in 1691 for Dr. Thomas Wynne, William Penn's physician and the first Speaker of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the community of approximately 2,800 is home to Lankenau Medical Center and St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Public education is administered by the Lower Merion School District and the Haverford Township School District.
