Wyoming is a borough in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, situated along the western bank of the Susquehanna River five miles north of Wilkes-Barre. Settled in the eighteenth century and notable for the historic 1778 Revolutionary War Battle of Wyoming, the residential community of approximately 3,118 is served by the Wyoming Area School District locally.
