About Xenia
Xenia is the county seat of Greene County in southwest Ohio, east of Dayton. Founded in 1803, the same year Ohio became a state, it has an older civic role than many nearby suburbs. The city is known regionally for the Greene County Fairgrounds, which hosts the annual Dayton Hamvention, and for its proximity to Wilberforce University. Xenia has also become familiar to cyclists through the area's trail network. It feels like a county-seat city with Dayton nearby but its own courthouse-town center.
