About Yerington

Yerington is a city and the county seat of Lyon County, Nevada, situated along the Walker River at the intersection of US 95A and Route 208. Named for railroad superintendent Henry Yerington and serving as headquarters for the Yerington Paiute Tribe, the historic community of approximately 3,150 is served by the Lyon County School District.
