About Yorkville

Yorkville is the Kendall County seat and a Chicago-area suburb about 39 miles west of the city. The Fox River runs through downtown, and the older layout put the central business district on the south side of the river with the public square to the north. Yorkville has a family-recreation side, too, with Raging Waves waterpark and the Marge Cline Whitewater Park for kayaking and river tubing. It also has a practical manufacturing note: Wrigley operates a large facility in town.
