Albertson, NY

Albertson is a Nassau County hamlet on Long Island, near Williston Park and within the Mill River watershed. Its European settlement history reaches back to John Seren, who came from Connecticut in 1644, giving the area roots far older than its present suburban form. Today Albertson is mostly residential, with local shops, schools, and commuter access in the Town of North Hempstead area.
