Avis, PA

Avis is a quiet, down-to-earth borough in Clinton County, situated along the northern side of the Susquehanna River valley. The community got its start around the turn of the 20th century under the name Oak Grove, developing into a tidy residential town well before modern highway systems arrived. Today, it retains that traditional Central Pennsylvania neighborhood feel, with compact, walkable streets set against a backdrop of rolling hills.
