Belvedere Park, GA

Belvedere Park is a DeKalb County census-designated place just east of Atlanta, near Decatur and Avondale Estates. It emerged in the 1950s as a planned suburban community with schools, parks, homes, and shopping, marketed to postwar buyers looking beyond the city. Much of that midcentury residential pattern still defines the area. Belvedere Park is close to MARTA access, Atlanta job centers, and older DeKalb neighborhoods, giving it a practical inner-suburban feel rather than the identity of a separate town.
