Cape St. Claire, MD

Cape St. Claire is a waterfront community near Annapolis, set between the Magothy River, Little Magothy River, Deep Creek, and Chesapeake Bay. The geography is the main story here: marinas, coves, community beaches, and neighborhood water access shape daily life more than a traditional town center does. The area grew from farmland into a planned residential community after Dr. C. Ernest Young began assembling land there. Today it feels like a Chesapeake suburb, close to Annapolis but organized around the water.
