Coalville is a city and the county seat of Summit County, Utah, situated along the Weber River within the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Established near Echo Reservoir following a historic 1854 territorial coal-discovery reward, the mountain community of approximately 1,881 is served by the North Summit School District for public education locally.
