About Colorado City

Colorado City is a high-desert town in Mohave County, Arizona, located in the isolated geographic region known as the Arizona Strip. Founded in 1913 as Short Creek by members of the Council of Friends, the community incorporated in 1985 and has a population of approximately 2,500. It is situated along the Utah border, close to Mohave Community College, and is served by the Colorado City Unified School District.
