About Columbia Falls

Columbia Falls is a city along the Flathead River in Flathead County, Montana, situated near the Flathead National Forest. Founded in 1891 in anticipation of the Great Northern Railway, the community of approximately 5,615 lies seventeen miles from Glacier National Park and hosts the annual Heritage Days celebration. Public education is administered by Columbia Falls School District Six.
