About Corona de Tucson
Corona de Tucson is a Pima County census-designated place southeast of Tucson, set in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains near Coronado National Forest. It has grown extremely quickly, rising from a tiny 2000 population to more than 9,000 people by 2020. The entire CDP is served by Vail Unified School District, which is a major part of how families experience the area. Corona de Tucson feels like residential desert growth pushed toward the mountains.
