About Drexel Heights

Drexel Heights is an unincorporated community and census-designated place southwest of Tucson in Pima County. It sits close to the Tucson Mountains, with Tucson Mountain Park along its northern edge and Saguaro National Park only a few miles away. That geography gives the area a desert-edge feel and also separates it somewhat from the rest of Tucson. Drexel Heights is mostly residential and school-oriented, served by Tucson Unified, with neighborhoods, desert roads, saguaros, and mountain views doing most of the defining work.
