About Druid Hills

Druid Hills is a historic community east of Atlanta, closely associated with Emory University and planned residential landscapes. The neighborhood was designed in part by Frederick Law Olmsted's firm, and its curving roads, parks, and large homes still distinguish it from more ordinary suburbs. Emory's campus, historic districts, and proximity to Decatur and Atlanta give Druid Hills a strong institutional and architectural identity. It feels leafy, academic, and old-Atlanta, with unusually careful planning visible in the streetscape.
