Elmo, MT

Sitting along the western edge of Flathead Lake, Elmo is a small, quiet community of around 250 residents on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Daily life revolves around the water and open countryside, with the calm bay of Big Arm right nearby for fishing, boating, and mountain views. The area has deep tribal roots and is well known for hosting the annual Standing Arrow Powwow. Located right off U.S. Highway 93, Elmo offers a peaceful lakeside setting within easy reach of regional hubs, sitting about 16 miles north of Polson and 35 miles south of Kalispell.
