Essig, MN

Essig is an unincorporated community in Brown County, Minnesota, United States. The 2020 census counted 49 residents. Essig is located on U.S. Route 14, 7 miles west of New Ulm. A post office called Essig has been in operation since 1886. That mix gives Essig a clear local shape within Minnesota, with older layers still visible in current places.
