About Frisco
Frisco is a Beaver County census-designated place in Franklin Township, with a small section extending north into Lawrence County. Pennsylvania 288 runs through the community southeast of Ellwood City. The place grew around the Harmony Line railway and the tube mill, whose expansion during World War I brought more development to the area. Frisco is western Pennsylvania in a very local scale: a two-county edge, a road through the middle, and an industrial history tucked into an unincorporated community.
