About Galena

Galena is a village in Delaware County, Ohio, situated northeast of Columbus near the Hoover Reservoir. Originally platted under the name Zoar in 1816 and renamed after its post office was established in 1834, the growing residential community of approximately 1,709 is served by the Big Walnut Local School District for education locally.
