Gardnerville is an unincorporated town in Douglas County, Nevada, situated in the Carson Valley adjacent to Minden. Named in honor of early cattleman John Gardner, the community of approximately 5,500 is traversed by U.S. Route 395. The town is connected to Lake Tahoe via the scenic Kingsbury Grade on State Route 207 and is served by the Douglas County School District.
