Gildford, MT

Gildford is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Hill County, Montana, United States. The 2020 census counted 141 residents. The town was named for Guildford, England. A flour mill, which milled Golden Grain Flour, operated from 1915 to 1951. At that time the junior and senior high schools were located in Gildford. That mix gives Gildford a clear local shape within Montana, with older layers still visible in current places.
