Glastonbury Center is a census-designated place comprising the densely populated downtown district of Glastonbury, Hartford County, Connecticut. Situated near the east bank of the Connecticut River seven miles southeast of Hartford, the residential community of approximately 7,300 features historic retail centers. The neighborhood offers nearby commuter highway access via Routes 2 and 17 and is served by the Glastonbury Public Schools.
