Kearny, AZ

Kearny is a small town in Pinal County, Arizona, in the Copper Basin near the Gila River. It was built by Kennecott Mining Company in 1958 as a planned community for residents of Ray, Sonora, and Barcelona, places affected by the expansion of open-pit copper mining.
