Kingsbury is a census-designated place in Douglas County, Nevada, situated in the Lake Tahoe area near the Nevada-California border. Home to approximately 2,200 residents, the community lies at a high elevation on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada range. Public education is administered by the Douglas County School District.
