Kuttawa, KY

Kuttawa is a quiet, scenic community in western Kentucky defined by its relationship with Lake Barkley. The town took on a new identity in the 1960s when the creation of the reservoir flooded the original settlement, prompting residents to rebuild on higher ground. Today, Old Kuttawa sits right along the shoreline while the rest of town stretches inland toward neighboring Eddyville, combining local history with relaxed waterfront living.
