About Lavallette

Lavallette is a coastal borough on the Barnegat Peninsula barrier island in Ocean County, New Jersey. Incorporated in 1887 and named in honor of U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Elie A. F. La Vallette, the resort community of approximately 1,865 features public ocean and bay beaches. Public education is served by the Lavallette School District.
