Lima, NY

Lima is a Livingston County village of 2,094 residents in the 2020 census, centered on the four corners where East Main Street, Routes 5 and 20, meet Route 15A. That crossroads is still the village's simplest map: stores and restaurants cluster around the intersection, while farm fields and ponds spread out beyond the village edge. The built-up center grew from a 1794 general store, then added churches, inns, trades, and civic buildings as the surrounding agricultural country filled in.
