About Meadow

Meadow is a town in Millard County, Utah, United States. The 2020 census counted 320 residents. Originally called Meadow Creek, the town is located about eight miles south of Fillmore. From 1847, Meadow Creek was considered a good camp site on the Mormon Road to Southern California. The short version is that Meadow carries an earlier story into the places people know and use now. That is the local read on Meadow: its past remains attached to the places people use now. Meadow Creek was the site where Walkara died in 1855. This climatic region is typified by large seasonal temperature differences, with warm to hot summers and cold winters.
