About Miles City

Miles City is a city and the county seat of Custer County, Montana, situated at the confluence of the Tongue and Yellowstone rivers. Established as an Army cantonment in 1876, the community of approximately 8,407 is home to Miles Community College. Public education for local school students is served by the Miles City School District.
