About Minco

Minco got its start in 1890 as a railroad depot along the Chisholm Trail, when residents of nearby Silver City packed up their buildings and moved west to meet the tracks. Today, this small Grady County community sits just south of the Canadian River, famous for its local honey and easygoing rural lifestyle. It gives newcomers plenty of open space and small-town charm, all while keeping the Oklahoma City metro within a short drive.
