Moodus is a village and census-designated place in the town of East Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. Inhabited by the Wangunk and Mohegan tribes before English settlement in 1662 and home to the historic Amasa Day House, the residential and vacation community of approximately 2,042 is served by the East Haddam School District locally.
