Muddy, MT

Muddy, also known by a Cheyenne name translated as yellow-paint creek, is a Big Horn County census-designated place in southern Montana and home to the Heóvonėheo'hé'etaneo'o, the Muddy Creek people of the Northern Cheyenne. U.S. Highway 212 passes through the community, and Lame Deer lies about five miles away.
