Naugatuck, CT

Naugatuck is a consolidated borough and town in New Haven County, set along both sides of the Naugatuck River. Settlement began in the early 1700s, and the community later grew with the industrial history of the Naugatuck Valley. Today it has its own school system, Naugatuck High School, older neighborhoods, local parks, and a downtown tied to the river valley. Naugatuck feels like a classic Connecticut mill town that has kept a distinct civic identity inside the larger Waterbury orbit.
