Nazlini, AZ

Nazlini is a quiet Navajo Nation community in northeastern Arizona, set along Route 27 between Chinle and Ganado. Sitting at over 6,000 feet near Rock Mesa, the area takes its name from a bend in the canyon wash where spring water flows year-round. Red-rock canyons and open desert frame the landscape, while the paved highway gives residents a straightforward drive to larger neighboring towns for shopping and healthcare.

Daily life here revolves around a small cluster of essential services, including the Chapter House, a local post office, a senior center, and Nazlini Community School. Originally established decades ago to keep education close to home, the school and chapter facilities serve as the main gathering spots for meetings and neighborhood events.
