New Rockport Colony, MT

New Rockport Colony is a rural Hutterite farming community along the north bank of the Teton River in Teton County, Montana. Home to around 200 residents, the settlement is arranged as a self-contained cooperative with shared residences, communal dining facilities, barns, and workshops. Members grow irrigated crops across the river valley, raise livestock, and operate on-site manufacturing businesses. For general shopping and everyday services, the town of Choteau is about 11 miles to the southwest. Because the colony is an established communal settlement, all housing, land, and daily operations are managed collectively.
