Northlake is a Denton County town northwest of Grapevine Lake, in the fast-growing north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth region. It is served by Northwest Independent School District and Argyle Independent School District, which reflects how the town sits between several suburban growth corridors. Northlake still has open land and a semi-rural feel in places, but warehouse development, new neighborhoods, and highway access are changing the scale quickly. It feels like a Texas edge town being pulled into the metro.
