Oktaha, OK

Oktaha is a quiet rural community in Muskogee County, located about fifteen miles south of the city of Muskogee along Highway 69. The town was established in 1872 as a stop along the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad and was named after the Muscogee leader Oktarharsars Harjo, also known as Sands.
