Oljato-Monument Valley, AZ

Oljato-Monument Valley is a tiny, remote community set right against the famous red sandstone towers along the Arizona-Utah border. Home to just over a hundred residents on the Navajo Nation, day-to-day life is quiet, tightly knit, and deeply tied to the surrounding desert. Most everyday shopping, services, and local schools are located about twenty miles south in Kayenta, leaving this area peaceful, rural, and immersed in rich Navajo culture.
