Pawcatuck is a village and census-designated place in the town of Stonington, New London County, Connecticut. Situated along the banks of the Pawcatuck River directly across from Westerly, Rhode Island, the historic community of approximately 5,577 is served by the Stonington School District, which manages local public elementary and secondary education.
