Rigby is a city and the county seat of Jefferson County, Idaho, situated between Idaho Falls and Rexburg. Founded in 1884 by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the community of approximately 5,404 features the Farnsworth TV and Pioneer Museum. Public education is served by Jefferson County School District 251.
