Rimrock Colony, MT

Rimrock Colony is a Toole County CDP and Hutterite agricultural community on Montana’s glaciated plains. The 2020 Census recorded 105 residents in a 0.81-square-kilometer boundary. The colony lies about 10 miles west of Sunburst, the nearest town with commercial services, with the Rocky Mountains to the west and the Sweet Grass Hills to the east. Its buildings include residences, a kitchen, and facilities supporting agricultural activities. Rimrock’s present map is a small rural settlement organized around a colony complex, farm production, and the open topography of northern Montana.
