Riverdale is a city in southern Weber County, between Ogden and the Weber River. It was once called Stringtown because early homes were strung along one road and the river, and Daniel Burch built a grist mill on the Weber's east bank. That old linear pattern still makes sense in a city shaped by roads, river bottomland, and regional shopping. Riverdale feels practical and connected, with Ogden nearby, the Wasatch Front in view, and commerce woven into daily life.
