About Santa Rita
Santa Rita is a Glacier County CDP on Montana Secondary Highway 213, five miles north of Cut Bank. It sits on the road to the Cut Bank oil and natural-gas fields, with Hay Lake and other glacial lakes in the Glacier National Park region. Farther south, Camp Disappointment marks the northernmost point reached by the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1806. Its local map points in two directions: toward the energy corridor serving the Cut Bank fields and toward the glacial-lake landscape and expedition history of northwestern Montana.
